Mayhew Steel Products, Inc. announces the release of a new 4-piece ProPneumatic Screwdriver Set (32080) designed specifically for removing flanged nuts or driving flanged bolts. Each screwdriver fits over the hex head of a flanged nut or bolt and uses a flange to drive them in, making them ideal for multi-purpose applications where any stud, pin or bolt needs to be driven without leaving the countersunk head hole.
The kit includes 10mm, 13mm, 15mm and 18mm screwdrivers for bolts and nuts with M6, M8, M10 and M12 threads respectively.
Specific applications for these tools include, but are not limited to: • Driving hex head bolts into the hub flange without damage • Loosening nuts and/or using nuts to push bolts out • Replacing pins, screwing in • Separating frozen hub assembly from knuckle • Drives loosen the set bolts to separate the assembly without damaging either
All tools in the set are equipped with Parker .401 turning shanks made from hardened and tempered alloy steel. Its black oxide coating resists corrosion and rust, enhancing the tool’s durability.
